AAC Bootcamp 2016

February 25 – 26, 2016

AAC Bootcamp is a two-day AAC conference for professionals, educators, parents and anyone supporting AAC users. Speakers will provide practical tools and strategies for professionals and educators to take back to their clients or students that use AAC. Attendees will learn strategies for implementing AAC, creating communicative opportunities in ways that are relevant and meaningful to the AAC user, learn how to overcome barriers to successful AAC implementation, and so much more!

Kelsey was born with a mito­chon­drial dis­order and was di­ag­nos­ed with Apra­xia of Speech. We pro­vided her with an AAC de­vice, and it is amaz­ing to see how her lan­guage skills have blossom­ed since then. She con­tinues to ex­pand her ex­pres­sive vo­cabu­lary, gain­ing new words and fluency each year.
