All of our course instructors are specialists in the field of AAC, with years of experience working with complex communication disorders. Lauren S. Enders, MA, CCC-SLP

Lauren S. Enders is a speech-language pathologist currently serving as a Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology Consultant. Lauren has a passion for using assistive technology, including all types of augmentative and alternative communication, to support students with complex communication needs, mobility impairments, cognitive impairments, and other disabilities.

Claire Powell, MS, CCC-SLP

Claire Powell is a practicing speech-language pathologist whose focus and passion is working with children with complex communication needs. She has worked in school settings, private practice, hospitals, and now works providing services to children in remote Alaskan villages. She lives in Bend, Oregon, and serves as a member of the Grant Review Commitee of Adler’s Voice.

Lucas Steuber is an applied linguist and speech-language pathologist based out of Portland, Oregon. He specializes in language and social thinking in pervasive developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a main interest of his professional work lies in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. He currently serves as a board member of Adler’s Voice.
